Download video for offline playback on iOS > iOS 12 error

We have the requirement to download videos for offline playback. We get the following error when using and iPad that is running iOS 14 using testFlight .
Brightcove-Player-Core (6.7.1)
react-native-brightcove-player (1.7.0)

[Error: Error Domain=kBCOVOfflineVideoManagerErrorDomain Code=69301 "Use -requestVideoDownload:mediaSelections:parameters:completion to download video and secondary tracks on iOS 13+."
