ps2link hangs on open()

I was using the prebuilt version of ps2link, but in an attempt to do some debugging I built my own version.
However, now it hangs on

ps2link/ee/ps2link.c

Line 65 in 2975239

fd = open("IPCONFIG.DAT", O_RDONLY);

Unsure how to debug this further as I can't use ps2link to get a dump

If you give more details about the changes you have done, I could you assist, however, debugging ps2link is not an easy task
