Related

Pros:

  • Value maps are more performant than in Prototype: Complex attributes (Option B) #7661
  • Reuses existing (and familiar) Attributes
  • Only exposes less performant and more complex Value API for heterogeneous maps, which are not expected to be common

Cons:

  • Mixes concept of attributes and nested maps
