FindAsync without catch

FindAsync currently catches CouchNotFoundException so it returns null in case that document is not found. I have mocked an implementation that is not using catch: n9@a877807. In case you would like me to pull-request it, let me know.

Maybe I should created a dev branch again so you can PR there. Or trigger the pipeline manually. Leave it there, for now. I will see Saturday if I just copy/paste and push in master with the other fixes. BTW thanks a lot

Actually this approach doesn't work everytime. If TSource has not nullable members and no default constructor to set them (like CouchUser), it will throw an exception

You are right. The problem is that I have not found a simple way to support that scenario in Flurl 2. And who knows when Flurl 3 will be released. What about to drop Flurl dependency together with update to System.Text.Json? (HttpClient API is not so complicated.)

It was in my plan for v2 to drop those. However is was not easy. First I need to implement a DefaultHttpClientFactory when not used in Asp.NET Core. Then have my own HttpClient wrapper to make it easier to use. Then change all internal JSON attributes with Text.Json ones. Study the differences between the 2 libraries. And create a new package to keep the support for Newtonsoft.Json
