Dual license with MIT?

Maybe its a bit late now, but it would be really nice to use with GPL-2 codebases that have lingering Apache 2 compatibility issues.

Jansson on which this depends is MIT licensed as is the Rust implementation RustCrypto/JOSE (as a dual MIT/Apache-2).

Is a MIT license option at user discretion possible? There isn't a huge base of contributors here to get consent from.
