Current Pain Points
- Analytics Page Accessibility: Analytics features are difficult to discover and access
- Inefficient Side Menu: Current sidebar doesn't prioritize common workflows
- Complex Navigation Flows: Too many clicks required to reach analysis reports
- Disconnected Experience: Integration management and analytics are separated despite being conceptually related
Proposed Changes
A detailed specification has been created in frontend/UI_REDESIGN_SPEC.md
including:
-

- Tab-based primary navigation (Dashboard, Workspaces, Analysis, Team)
- Contextual secondary navigation
- Breadcrumb trails for clear location awareness
-
Centralized Analysis Hub:
- Analysis directory with filtering and sorting
- Recent analyses view
- Favorites/pinned analyses feature
-
Improved Workspace Management:
- Unified resource browser
- Contextual analysis options
- Direct analysis actions from resource views
-
Enhanced UI Components:
- Card-based UI for consistent presentation
- Dashboard widgets for quick access
- Standardized action buttons and patterns
Implementation Approach
The redesign will be implemented in phases:
- Navigation restructuring
- Analysis hub development
- Workspace management improvements
- Dashboard enhancements
Success Metrics
- Reduction in clicks to access analysis features
- Increased usage of analytics features
- Positive user feedback on navigation
- Reduced support requests related to finding features
