Describe the bug 🐞
I would like to use ForwardDiff to calculate the sensitivity of an ODE system using a split problem. It currently works with an out-of-place ODE function, but it doesn't work with an in-place function.
Expected behavior
I would expect it to work both in place and out-of-place.
Minimal Reproducible Example 👇

My understanding from the debugger is that the cache for du
is not getting converted to dual numbers for some reason.
