Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18+
  • npm or yarn package manager

Environment Variables

Create a .env.local file in the root directory:

Note: OpenAI and Anthropic API keys can be managed through the application UI and are stored securely in your browser's local storage.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/rss-markdown-converter.git
cd rss-markdown-converter
  1. Install dependencies:
npm install
  1. Set up environment variables (see above)

  2. Run the development server:

npm run dev
  1. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser

Building for Production

npm run build

Usage Guide

Basic Workflow

  1. Enter RSS URL - Paste any RSS feed URL into the input field
  2. Browse suggestions - Use recent feeds for quick access
  3. Select article - Click on any article from the parsed feed
  4. Choose AI provider - Select between Groq, Gemini, OpenAI (GPT-5), or Anthropic
  5. Configure settings - Set post type, keywords, and persona options
  6. Generate content - Click on any platform button
