After some frustration trying to sort this out I noticed the labs page had been updated to include this statement: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-labs-explore-experimental-features-firefox It automatically switches back off if you don't have those telemetry settings active. If anyone has a workaround that respects user choice I'd love to hear it. Edit: After looking around some more it looks like labs is tied to nimbus which relies on some of the telemetry stuff so shutting off those telemetry settings shuts off nimbus which shuts off labs: Nimbus is Firefox's cross-platform experimentation tool. In a completely new firefox profile in settings, under "Sync", the option of "Firefox Labs" are present. But after applying user.js it is gone. How can i enable it?
Before using user.js

After using user.js
Ive tried reading through the user prefs changed in the user.js, but i couldn't find anything related to experimental or labs that when changed, would make Firefox labs reappear(although i did not try to disable/enable EVERYTHING)
