Getting denied after providing current unofficial transcript that is dated.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get Github Education for school but I am getting denied. I submitted my ID but my school doesnt date them and also its a little faded. I then tried submitting my unofficial dated transcript but that also got denied. How do i reappeal this? Please help. I do have proof in the poor category but I dont know if that would help much either

Thank you, I have just submitted my schedule and if that fails, how do i combine documents? it only lets me uplaod one photo at a time. if i try comibining in photo form, they become small

• Use a free PDF tool (like combining multiple images into one PDF) so each page stays readable.
• If you need to stick with images, put them side by side or stacked vertically in a single file, but make sure the text is still legible.

The key is clarity — if the text becomes too small or blurry, it might get rejected again. A PDF is usually the safest option.

GitHub Education requires a document that clearly shows your full name, your school’s name, and a current enrollment date. If your school ID doesn’t have a date (or is faded), it usually won’t be accepted by the automated system.

👉 The best approach is to resubmit with a dated document such as:

An enrollment verification letter from your school

An official/unofficial transcript with your name + date

Any other school-issued document that confirms active enrollment

If the system keeps rejecting it, you can open a GitHub Education support ticket
and explain the situation. Attach the documents you do have — the Education team can manually review and approve cases when the automated check fails.
