The older version of <package> cannot be removed.

I have used an uninstall tool to uninstall oh-my-posh (JanDeDobbeleer.OhMyPosh). I then wanted to reinstall it using the winget CLI. I'm getting this output:

Error 1714. The older version of Oh My Posh cannot be removed.  Contact your technical support group.  System Error 1612.

I cannot find any traces of the app left on my machine. What can I do to fix this?

You'll have to go to their repo to ask, as I'm sure they would know more than we would about it. Could try resetting your powershell profile back to a clean state, but other than that, I don't know

I've contacted the package maintainer, who has directed me back to here. Is there anywhere winget stores a database of installed packages?
